023 9284 5719 [email protected] Paul has worked at Portsmouth since 2008. Initially for 18 months as Sports Development Manager and Assistant Head of Sport before becoming Head of Sport in 2010. Previous work included Sports Development at the University of Leeds and Havant Borough Council. An alumni of the University of Portsmouth, Paul completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Portsmouth. Paul is responsible for the strategic direction of the department and the delivery of University sport and physical activity programmes.

''Please can we have some cardio classes starting at 4.30pm on the timetable?" We have now added an additional 4.30pm Step N Tone class on a Tuesdays and Fridays

''Are we able to book sports bookings through the mobile app?" We are pleased to say after a recent upgrade, members are now able to book activities such as squash, badminton and football through the mobile app

''The squash courts could do with some TLC!'' We are investing over £35k in fully upgrading both squash courts which will also include the installation of heating and new flooring

''Please make the kettlebells class longer! We want it longer because we love kettlebells". We have now extended our kettlebells class from 30 minutes to 45 minutes with the option of express kettlebells in the gym

''Can we have some larger butterfly clips for the barbells in the gym and additional benches?" We have now added larger butterfly clips to the gym and added 30% more benches

''Do you have a swimming pool?". No, but as a student or staff member of the university you can access our free 'Get Active Stay Active' membership! As a part of this you will have access to timetabled sessions at local pools in Portsmouth for just £1.50 per session.
