Krav Maga (pronounced “krahv mahGAH”) was developed in the 1950’s and combines effective techniques and philosophies from various martial arts and fight training. Krav Maga (“contact combat” in Hebrew) is a modern and dynamic self-defence system. So Krav Maga is perfect to develop self confidence because you learn valuable life skills.

Mindful meditation is a mental training practice, because training the brain is just as important as training the body and involves focusing your mind on your experiences (such as your own emotions, thoughts, and sensations) in the present moment. Mindful meditation can involve breathing practice, mental imagery, awareness of body and mind, as well as muscle and body relaxation.

We have 6 grass football and 2 grass rugby pitches. Our barriered 1st team football pitch is of the highest standard and hosts Portsmouth FC reserve games. Unfortunately we have no availability for grass bookings for the 2015/16 season.
Personal training
Personal training is available to purchase at reception upto 6 months in advance. We offer packages of either 5 or 10 sessions at a duration of 30 or 60 minutes per session. This product is for those who want a personal service where the instructor plans each session for them based on their short, medium and long term goals.
Programme (FREE 4 weekly review)
These 60 minute sessions are a member only privilege and are bookable up to 7 days in advance either online, via the app or at reception. This product is for those who want a bespoke programme designed for them that they can follow in the gym after without an instructor.
1-2-1 sessions
These 30 minute sessions are a member only privilege and are bookable up to 7 days in advance either online, via the app or at reception. This product is suitable for those who need some support or advice with an exercise, piece or equipment or training method. These should not be used for an individual training session.

We offer a free Physiotherapy service for students with chronic or acute injuries during term time. The Clinic is held at St Paul’s Road Gym on Thursdays during our opening times. You will need to book direct with the NHS via its referral system. Please click on the link below for contact details and how to book. Once your form is completed you need to send it back to St Mary’s or Queen Alexandra Hospital and contact them to arrange for your appointment at St Paul’s Sports Centre.
