Our Fit for 5k course will help achieve the goal of running your first ever 5k

Starting 17th June this package is the perfect way to train with a small group of like minded people.

Dates: Monday’s & Wednesday’s  17th & 19th June – 15th & 17th July 2019

Times: 19:00 – 20:00

Location: St Paul’s Gym

Course Length: 5 Weeks

Cost: £31.75 for Members / £47.50 non-members

For: All abilities


What is fit for 5k?

Never run before? Maybe running 5k is a goal for 2019. This 5-week course could be just what you are looking for. This instructor led 5 week programme will combine walking, running and resistance training to build your fitness level, stamina and confidence to prepare you to run 5k.

 

What we are offering?

  • 2 x 60 minute small group instructor-led sessions each week.
  • Weekly gym / home based workouts to get you fit for 5k.
  • Full access to our UOP Gym app.
  • (Optional) Take part as a group in the Southsea Parkrun 5k (Saturday 20th July 2019) at the end of the course led by your instructor.
  • A maximum of 6 people on the course so you’ll get the attention you deserve from your instructor.
