Pull Workshop

This workshop will run through the benefits of a pull workout for the upper body. Some exercises can be categorised into push and pull moves. Exercises such as a shoulder press being a push and a barbell row being a pull. This workshop will complete Pull exercises using a range of weights, cables, bars as well as bodyweight. 

Who is it for?

FREE for all members wanting to learn about squats or looking for a new way to boost their leg workouts. This workshop is ideal for beginners as well as experienced lifters who want to push their workouts.

What will the workshop cover?

Want more confidence with lifting weights and not sure what a ‘Pull’ exercise is? If you’re feeling a bit rusty from sitting in the library or at your desk, then this is a great way to gain confidence, learn the correct technique and help get rid of those aches, pains and poor posture. Working through the posterior chain of muscles through the back, hips and neck can improve posture and relieve discomfortPull exercises are performed when the muscle or movement pull weight toward the body during the concentric phase of the movement. The muscle then lengthens as the weight moves away from the body during the eccentric phase of the exercise. The main muscle groups worked are the lats as well as other muscles in your back including trapezius and rhomboids, in addition to your rear delts, biceps, and forearms. These moves will all be broken down into a usable format that you can performa a workout from.
