Female Weights Workshops

This female weights workshop aims to help build your confidence and increase your knowledge on weightlifting. We welcome all fitness levels – whether you are completely new to weightlifting or looking to improve your technique. Our fully qualified instructors, Emily, Amber, and Amanda will be demonstrating technique, providing advice and encouragement during the workshops.

For: female members of all abilities and levels

Cost: Free (included in your membership)

The workshops will cover a different theme and body part each week.  You do not have to attend each session if you do not wish to. You will receive a free programme of the exercises you have covered at the end of each workshop. If you attend all our sessions, you will be able to demonstrate a number of different weightlifting techniques for a full body workout that you can use confidently on your own. You will also have a network of other participants to help you when in the gym.

*Two of our sessions will be delivered as part of our This Girl Can week, we have a range of other activities available for FREE during the week so get involved. To find out more about This Girl Can head to their website.


To book these workshops: Female Weights Workshops will be bookable through our UOP Sport app, the same as you would book a class. Please note: this workshop and other classes can only be booked three days in advance.
