Gym Programme

Our gym programme will see a host of workshops and sessions designed to give you the best chance to maintain your goals.

The sessions will be focused on a range of areas aimed at getting the most out of your training. Sessions will be running weekly, however will not be the same each week.

How to book:

All sessions are FREE for members and can be booked through our app, online or through reception. Sessions can be booked 3 days in advance of the sessions. Unfortunately if you are not a member, these sessions are not available. To purchase a membership please visit our join now page.


What are the sessions?

Female Weights Workshop: 

Female Weight workshops aim to build knowledge, experience and increase confidence within the gym. Completely new to weight training or just looking to improve your technique our instructors will offer advice and encouragement throughout the sessions. Find out more.

Injury Clinic:

Injury clinic is FREE for all members who have concerns about an injury when working out. If you’re looking for specialist advice regarding an injury or medical condition, which is impacting on your fitness routine then book in for a session. Find out more.

Stretch and Flex:

Stretch and flex is a 20 minute session that will focus on exercises to lengthen muscles to help the overall ease of your workout and day to day life. You’ll go through basic, as well as more advanced stretches, and how to gradually increase the intensity eventually improving your flexibility. A great way to feel relaxed after any form of exercise. Find out more.

Functional Training: 

Functional training helps provide you with the strength, stability, and mobility you need to thrive in your life and sports. You’ll use basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying and gait patterns (walking and running) every day. You’ll utilise exercises that improve your movement to give you an edge so you can achieve your goals safely and with good health. Find out more.

Chest and Triceps Workshop: 

Focusing on two main muscle groups. As you train chest, you also use your shoulders and triceps to “push the weights”. Ideal for anybody looking to simply gain a little strength and learn how to do these exercises correctly. Additionally, you’ll learn and develop your muscle strength by training in different styles. You’ll learn a range of workouts working both the chest and triceps in a varied yet structured style. Consequently, you’ll gain the confidence to take this on in your future workouts, to build strength or size. Find out more.

Squat Workshop: 

Looking to increase your lower body strength, unsure how to squat properly? Our 45 minute squat session is a great session for beginners as well as seasoned lifters. Our professional instructors will guide you through the perfect form. As well as explaining the benefits of including this great exercise into your workout routines. Find out more.

Cardio Workshop: 

Shift your cardio fitness, burn calories and sweat. This 30 minute workshop is designed to help you maximise your cardio workouts in the gym. Have an instructor present to motivate you and challenge you with different styles of cardio workouts. Find out more.

Lunge Workshop: 

How many types of lunges can you think of, 1 or 2? In this workshop you’ll learn a range of lunges, as well as how to perform them safely and effectively. You’ll use a variety of equipment from dumbbells, kettlebells and benches. Find out more.

Back and Biceps Workshop: 

Your back plays a huge role in how your entire body functions. Strengthening your back gives you additional power in all sports by stabilising your body to swing or throw harder. Being able to stand upright and hold your stomach in requires strong, resilient muscles along your spine and in your lower back. The stronger your back is, the easier it is to maintain good posture throughout the day. Consequently, ensuring you get the best possible workouts when training your back and biceps. Find out more.

Pull Workshop: 

Unsure what a ‘Pull’ exercise is? This 45 minute workout will only use PULL based movements. Using movements utilising the posterior chain of muscles like your back, hips and neck. A great way to gain confidence, learn the correct technique and help get rid of those aches, pains and poor posture. Find out more.

Push Workshop: 

Push workout is our 45 minute gym workshop which will run through varied workouts using only the PUSH motion. You’ll use a variety of equipment such as our 45 degree leg press, squat rack, bench press and much more.  You’ll train different muscle groups and learn the benefits of each workout. In return this will give you more confidence and better ideas in the gym. Find out more.

Upper Body Workshop: 

Upper body is just as important as lower body. This is a great way to gain confidence and knowledge within the gym. You’ll gain a good understanding of training formats for specific goals. Find out more.
